Important issues for starting your studies the Spring term of 2013

Welcome to study with us this term! The following information is relevant for you to consider before the term starts.

Accept your admission to keep it

December 10 you will receive a notification from antagning.se regarding your admission. It is vital that you reply in time to keep the ranking, the same applies to both admissions and waiting lists. You reply to antagning.se – not to the department by December 20 at the latest. If you fail to reply your admission will be given a student on the waiting list or you will loose your place on the waiting list. Students on waiting list or students who have made a late application will receive a notification from antagning.se January 2. No reply is necessary for this notification.

Register for the course or the programme

Before you can start your studies you need to register. Most students will be able to register on-line through the web service My studies. To log in, first activate your university account at www.su.se/aktivera
In case of problems with this, you are welcome to get assistance at our Student affairs office in room B980 during the following hours:

Thursday Jan. 17 at 9 – 12 a.m.

For courses starting as the term begins the on-line registration remains open until Friday January 18.

Schedules and course descriptions

Course information is published for each course and course unit to be found under Our courses and programmes.

All applications through antagning.se

Applications for courses and/or programmes at the first or second level are made through the national webb site antagning.se, also late applications.

Mondo

Mondo is a tool for communication between students and teachers.
Use your university account to log in. Mondo is Stockholm University's common collaboration and learning environment where you communicate with teachers and fellow students, collect and submit course assignments, receive links and course information and messages. The tag for your course is either in the upper line or can be found under ’My active sites’.

If your university email is not your regular email service, you should re-direct your university emails to your ordinary email account in order not to miss important information sent through Mondo. Use ’Kontohantering’ to re-direct.
